The Story - 'Lijo to Lijoy'
A simple four-letter word called 'Logo' represents complex ideas or solutions and becomes the identity for any organization. We also have a simple four-letter word and thought of using it.
Growing up our founder Lijo Jose thought that 'Lijo' is not the best of the names. It doesn't have any specific meaning other than being the combination of first two alphabets of his mother's and father's name. However, as soon as the thought of branding came to his mind, he recognized how lucky we are.
Our logo is a combination of 'Li' and 'joy'.
Mission: Creating Value
Core Values: Our company’s logo is inspired from an element in periodic table. The element is Lithium, and its properties describe our core values.
Being Authentic (Lightest of the solid elements): We believe in true value for money, information, product, service and profitability. We want our customers to use the most innovative product without the need of paying a heavy price due to unreasonable markups while ensuring that our suppliers generate business good enough to keep innovating.
Striving for Excellence (Removes impurities of other metals and gasses): We actively strive for excellence by being simple and ensuring ‘right skill for right job’.
Embracing Uniqueness and Blooming Together (Great initiator of polymerization): We believe that uniqueness is a responsibility we owe to ourselves and the world around us. Trust is the essence of teamwork; we trust to empower.
Spreading Joy (Only alkali metal that does not form the negative ion): The nature teaches us that positive and negative are not absolute opposites. For us honesty is happiness, we want to spread joy by embracing the virtue of honesty.
Seeking Harmony – ‘The Rule of Three’ (Atomic number of Lithium is 3): Our ‘Memory’ belongs to the past, we ‘Experience’ things in present, our ‘Aspiration’ is for the future. 3 is in our Logo as it is the smallest number needed to create a pattern. We want to seek harmony by enjoying the beginning, the course and the end of the journey.
Vision: Spreading Joy
